New this upcoming season, US Lacrosse and NCJLA have adopted new age cut off dates for youth divisions.
The following are the new U15 age dates:
Birth date cut off: Born on or before 8/31/98
Birth date range: 9/1/96 - 8/31/98

We are thrilled to announce that Renee Eligio is the new Director of Girls Lacrosse for the Tomahawks Club! Renee is a recent graduate of Santa Clara University where she played four years for the lady Broncos. A left-handed goalkeeper, Renee is a four-time WCLA First Team All-American and four-time WWLL First Team All-League member. She was named WCLA National Rookie of the Year her freshman year and also is a two-time WCLA National Goalie of the Year. As a captain and social chair during her senior season, she was elected WCLA Preseason Player of the Year by Lacrosse Magazine; helped lead her team to a 15-3 record, defend their WWLL Championship title for a second year in a row, and finish the year as the #3 ranked team in the nation following the National Tournament. Renee was also named to the 2011 WCLA National Championship All-Tournament Team. While at Santa Clara, Renee faced over 1300 shots and finished with a stellar 59% career save percentage. Renee graduated Santa Clara in 2011 with a degree in Biology.
In recent summers, Renee has been an assistant coach at several lacrosse camps in the Bay Area. Most notably: Stanford University Lacrosse camps, Fremont Lacrosse Camps and the Tomahawks Lacrosse Camps. Over the last 7 years, Renee has also volunteered as an assistant coach for a number of Bay Area junior girls volleyball teams. A San Francisco native, Renee graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep in 2007, where she played four years of lacrosse. Her senior year, she earned Second Team All-American honors and made the 2007 Pacific Team competing in the Women's Division National Tournament in Bethlehem, PA. She currently lives in San Francisco and works as a lab instructor teaching a variety of interactive science lessons at The Tech Museum in San Jose.
