The Tomahawks Youth Lacrosse Club is a year round program, offering league play, travel tournaments, summer camps, and instructional clinics thoughout the year.  We are a 501c3 Non Profit corporation based in Palo Alto, California

Regular Season

The primary regular season for Youth Lacrosse in California is in the Spring of each year.  Practices begin in late January.  Regular season games are played in March and April, and the playoffs are in May. Registration for the Spring Season begins in October.

FallBall

From September to November each year, we have a comprehensive Fall Ball program. We have Fall Ball for Boy's High School and U15/U13 and U11/U9.  FallBall is a combination of instruction and informal scrimmages against local clubs.  Fall Ball is a 2 hour session per age level per week from mid-September to mid-November.  We try to play in a regional Fall Tournament over Thanksgiving.  Registration begins in August. 

SummerBall

SummerBall is a weekly pickup scrimmage for younger boys in the Tomahawks program.  Every Saturday morning at the Stanford/Palo Alto Community Playing Fields (Mayfield), we have fields for U11/U9 and U13/U15 boys to work on their skills and have some fun.  SummerBall is free to all Tomahawks players. 

SummerCamp

The Tomahawks, in partnership with GoldenState Lacrosse and Chris Rotelli and Eric Martin, each year hold a SummerCamp for Boy's.  In general, this Camp in held in the last two weeks of June. We also sponsor several Beginners Summer Camps throughout the Summer, led by Tomahawks Coach Greg Mengis. 

Travel Teams

The Tomahawks sponsor travel teams for boys and girls.  These teams are by competitive tryout only, and include both Tomahawk players as well as selected players from around Northern California.  These teams tend to attend several regional and/or National Tournaments, often in the summer, but occasionally in the Fall/Spring as well.  

Introductory and Intermediate Clinics

The Tomahawks hold year round Introductory Clinics and Small Group Clinics.  Some are free, some involve a small fee.  Some are targeted to the new player, others toward intermediate level players. 

Summer Leagues

During the summer, we also sponsor Boys and Girls High School SummerLeagues.  Teams are generally organized by gegraphic area.  Teams plays 7 games (one per week) and then final playoff tournament.  Games are managed by licensed referees on the fields at Gunn and Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto. 

Private Lessons

Several of our Tomahawks boys and girls coaches are available for private lessons, if desired.
